The Endicott tour

Endicott has just completed a major production upgrade, installing new rectifying equipment that precision-grinds thin brick flats and corners. That matters to anyone casting architectural precast with embedded brick: it holds every unit to the dimensional tolerances PCI-embedded clay thin brick requires.

The tour runs the equipment in full operation and walks the complete clay thin brick manufacturing process end to end. Raw material mining, pugging and forming flats and corners, quality verification, PCI-grade precision rectifying, waxing, and final packaging.

Evening of September 30

No PowerPoints. No agenda.

End day one in the best way possible. Just an easy, relaxed space to keep the conversations going, meet new people, catch up with old friends from all three chapters, and unwind with good food and drinks.

We gather at Lazlo's, a warm, casual brewpub known for from-scratch cooking and handcrafted beer, in a setting built for conversation. It is the most natural, low-pressure networking of the entire Chapter Three experience.

Questions about Chapter Three

Who can attend Chapter Three 2026?

Members of the three participating chapters: PCI Midwest, PCI Mountain States, and PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin. If your company is a producer or associate member of PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin, you qualify.

What does the registration fee include?

Registration covers the Endicott plant tour, charter transportation to and from Endicott, lunch, and snacks. Education sessions and the evening networking event at Lazlo’s are part of the program. Hotel rooms are booked separately through the room block on the event site.

Where is it held?

Sessions, registration, and breakfast are at the Graduate by Hilton, Lincoln, at 141 North 9th Street. The evening networking event on September 30 is at Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill, 210 N 7th Street, a short distance away. The October 1 tour is at Endicott, reached by charter bus from the hotel.

What will we see on the Endicott tour?

The full clay thin brick production workflow, from raw material mining through pugging and forming flats and corners, quality verification, PCI-grade precision rectifying, waxing, and final packaging. Endicott recently installed new rectifying equipment that precision-grinds thin brick flats and corners, and it will be running during the tour.

Why are three chapters meeting together?

PCI Midwest and PCI Mountain States met jointly last fall and it worked. Adding PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin widens the room again. The practical effect is a broader program, better networking, and cost savings across all three chapters rather than each carrying its own fall meeting.

Does membership cover the registration fee?

No. Chapter events are billed separately from membership dues. Premier Associates of PCI of Illinois & Wisconsin have two registrations included at chapter events. See the membership page for how the tiers work.
